This diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the energy potential of waste produced after processing buckwheat in comparison with other marginal species of agricultural crops (flax, peas and soybean). The qualification work includes an elementary analysis of waste materials on the basis of the higher heating value, the lower heating value and final energy gain were determined.

This diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the possibilities of legumes in various agricultural systems of the Czech Republic. In the literary research of this thesis are first introduced more and less known species of legumes and their growing conditions. There are also described agricultural systems - conventional, integrated and organic agriculture. Legumes are suitable for growing in all these systems, however in the case of organic farming is increased risk of harmful pathogens with reflection in reducing yield and quality. In the practical part of the thesis are presented results from the experiment with soybean, where yield and quality parametres were monitored in dependence of the environmental conditions.

The aim of this thesis is to deal with the issue of the technology of cultivation of lupine and soya. Firstly, it describes morphological and biological properties, analyzes the selection of suitable varieties, basic and pre-soil preparation of soil and sowing. It also summarizes cultivation technology from soil preparation to harvest and seed treatment. Part of the thesis is also an analysis of the possible application of both plant species on the Czech market, both for human consumption and for livestock feeding. Also, the economy of cultivation is mentioned.

The diploma thesis presents the results of studies on the awareness of women aged 18 to 30 years about soya. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of soya, describes its varieties, cultivation and its composition. There is also described the ways we can use soy and here you will find a list of food soya products and their descriptions. In the last chapter of the theoretical part is defined, what is the effect of soya on human health. The practical part evaluates poll thematized awareness of the soybean and its use. It identifies the general knowledge about the abundance of legumes and its representation in the diet of female respondents. Alternatively, in what form . The analysis is based on quantitative research, which was conducted through an anonymous questionnaire. Most often like interviews. Obtained data are processed in graphical and tabular form.
